Drinking water supply

In 2012, with help of Christel Foncke from Belgium 6 water taps were built in Jhangajhiti (read her blog banyanboom) that supply the village
with drinking water.

The water from the mountains is captured in a big concrete basin and transported through a pipeline to the water taps. The water basin and the pipelines are severely damaged by the earthquake. De taps stayed intact.

End of July 2015 a new pipeline was built by Madav Tamang and the villagers. The new water basin is planned to be constructed in 2017.
